The construction of a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Storage Power Station on a 5-hectare area built upon the “Baganuur” substation in the Baganuur district of Ulaanbaatar is progressing successfully.On October 5, 2024, Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai visited the Battery Storage Power Station, a project implemented by the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar as part of the Government of Mongolia’s energy reform. Energy storage power station manufacturing project scale
Project total investment of 2 billion yuan, plans to be implemented in phases: a project will be launched in the first quarter of 2025, leasing plant 15,000 square meters, the construction of 2GWh energy storage equipment production line and 1GWh lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage station, is expected to be completed in the third and fourth quarter of the commissioning of the equipment and put into operation.
