Peru energy storage investment 2 billion project
Lima, Peru – 5 July 2024 – Irish family company, Phelan Green Energy, led by Chairman Mr. Paschal Phelan, has announced a landmark US$2.4 billion investment to develop a large-scale green ammonia production facility in Peru. Mr. Phelan and his team, agreed the detail of the Project at a special, two hour meeting, with Peruvian Prime Minister, Mr. Gustavo Adrianzén and his Cabinet at the Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros del Peru in Lima this week. Ulaanbaatar Battery Energy Storage Project
The construction of a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Storage Power Station on a 5-hectare area built upon the “Baganuur” substation in the Baganuur district of Ulaanbaatar is progressing successfully.On October 5, 2024, Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai visited the Battery Storage Power Station, a project implemented by the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar as part of the Government of Mongolia’s energy reform.
